A Journey through the Gospel of Luke

At Ormond Anglican Church, we are exploring the life and ministry of Jesus through the Gospel according to Luke—a vivid, carefully‑crafted account that invites us to see who Jesus truly is and what it means to follow Him today.

Week by week, we watch Jesus teach with authority, confront evil, heal the sick, restore the broken, welcome the outsider, forgive sins, and proclaim the good news of God’s kingdom. Luke shows us a Saviour who is powerful and compassionate, who sees individuals in their need, and who calls people of every background to trust Him.

Across this series, we’re asking:
Who is Jesus?
And how will we respond to Him?

We invite you to join us as we discover more of Jesus—His identity and His transforming work—in this rich and life‑giving book of the Bible.

    Responsibility and Risk

The final sermon in our four part series on the key events around the first kings of Israel. Luke walks us through 1 Kings 11:1-13 showing how Solomon lost sight of the Lord and was swayed by his many wives to worship other gods.

Luke encourages all Christians to be aware of their responsibility to be fully devoted to God and warns us all to be careful to avoid losing sight of God.
