Global Mission - Bishop Ben Wong | Acts 17:17–34

As part of our Mission Month series, Bishop Ben Wong explores Paul's ministry in Athens and what it means to share the gospel in a world filled with different beliefs, cultures, and worldviews.

In Acts 17, Paul encounters a city full of idols and competing ideas. Rather than withdrawing or condemning from a distance, he engages thoughtfully with the people around him, helping them see the God they do not yet know. His example challenges us to consider how we can faithfully share the good news of Jesus in our own communities.

This message asks:

How can we speak about Jesus in a culture that often sees the world very differently?

You'll be encouraged to:

  • Learn from Paul's example of engaging people with grace and truth

  • See how the gospel speaks into every culture and worldview

  • Grow in confidence to share your faith with others

  • Recognise God's heart for people from every nation and background

The God Paul proclaimed in Athens is the same God who continues to call people everywhere to know Him through Jesus Christ.
